We offer personalised small group (no re than 2students) depending on the needs of the students. A Level tutoring, 1-1.5 hour sessions based in Baildon which are broadly structured:

• Support with current learning – classwork and homework from school. 
• Intervention on weaker areas/topics.
• Exam preparation and techniques.

The primary objective of the sessions is to tutor students in what they are currently studying, to build up their confidence and understanding of topics as they learn them in school. All lessons are planned to complement the Scheme of Work from students’ schools so to offer intervention at key times to enhance their understanding as well as enjoyment and so performance of the subject. As well as filling gaps in prior knowledge.

Tutoring A Level involves building confidence and we work at students' own pace and in an environment where they feel comfortable in asking any question at all. The level of scaffolding at different stages of learning is critical in order to provide the right amount of support and challenge to ensure students are exam ready. 

As well as getting to the correct answer we also work on selecting the most efficient methods and learning the best techniques.

Our aim is to provide an informal, low risk learning environment where we break topics down from recognising the maths involved in questions to performing the required methods both efficiently and logically, through to supporting students with areas of weakness from their GCSE studies. 

In addition, quite often students can struggle with particular aspects or certain topics of the course which can both knock confidence and result in a much lower grade than they are capable of. Our intervention programme would be very much tailored to individual students led in meeting their individual needs as well as getting them exam ready.

The cost of each session is £35 per student for a group session of 2 students.
